Implemented changes led to a 40% boost in light output in specific areas and achieved estimated annual savings of $25,000.

Pre-install:
Before the upgrade, we completed a thorough assessment that revealed there weren't enough lights in key places. Insufficient lighting in critical areas, with lux levels as low as 180 in the seasonal area.
What we did:
To address the lighting deficiencies, a comprehensive lighting design was created and implemented. This involved installing 21 additional lights compared to the previous setup. Previously unlit aisles were illuminated, and the number of lights at the entrance and the main aisle to the drive-thru was doubled. Additionally, wireless control lights were installed, adjusting brightness as sunlight levels in the store increased. In keeping with sustainability goals, we recycled the old bulbs.
Outcome:
The implemented changes resulted in a 40% increase in light output in specific areas. Despite the increased number of lights, estimated savings of $25k per year were achieved. Lux levels in the seasonal area saw a substantial improvement, reaching 1200 lux.

We worked with Mitre 10 MEGA Napier to brighten the building and reduce operating costs.

The store experienced a significant rise in lux levels, creating a welcoming environment for customers and staff, and operational efficiency was improved with a new control system.
